Magnesite DB is a Dead Burnt Magnesite originates from the Liaoning province in China. It is produced in a Rotary Kiln by sintering raw magnesite at a controlled temperature.
Dead Burned Magnesite is widely used as a basic refractory material. Dead Burnt Magnesite is produced in rotary kilns generally in Magnesium Oxide Purities of 90-97% MgO and widely used for gunning / ramming mass, for tundish linings and for fettling purposes. Dead Burned Magnesite can be supplied in lump for end users to crush and grade or in ready sized form.
1. Dead burned magnesite:
Dead burned magnesite is selected from natural magnesite, produced by mine
selecting, purifying, and calcining in shaft kilns. It is an ideal material for unshaped
refectory material. The final products are used in opening hearth furnace,
electric furnace bottom furnace and lining tamping.
2. Middle grade dead burned magnesite:
The products are made from sorted natural raw magnesite through sintering in high
temperature shaft kilns. They are ideal materials for making monolithic refractories.
Their finished products are also used for making the bottoms or lining of
open hearth furnace and electric arc furnace.
3. High purity dead burned magnesite:
The products are made from sorted super grade natural magnesite through sections
including float concentration, calcination, fine granding, high pressure briqueting
and ultra high temperature sintering in heavy oil shaft kilns. They are good
quality materials for making magnesia bricks and monolithic refractories.
